“Coolest Thing Made in Minnesota” Contest: Nomination Deadline is Thursday

ST. PAUL (KVRR) — Nominations are about to close for the “Coolest Thing Made in Minnesota” contest.
The state is known for everything from Hormel Spam to Arctic Cat ATVs to Starkey Hearing Aids.
Jennifer Byers with Minnesota Chamber of Commerce says, “There are so many products made in Minnesota that people maybe see or use every day—they have no idea that it’s manufactured here.”
Manufacturing is the biggest contributor to Minnesota’s economic growth, supporting over 325,000 workers across 8,000 companies.
Nominations are due on Thursday.
The first bracket will be announced on September 3 with the winner announced on October 8 at the 2024 Manufacturers’ Summit.
