Great Straw Maze Returns at West Acres Mall

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — The Great Straw Maze is back again for their 2nd Annual maze at the West Acres Parking Lot.

The family run maze opened today for visitors to come take a chance at going through the 8-foot tall maze that has its twists and turns of paths.

It is open to anyone and easily wheelchair and stroller accessible.

The maze takes approximately forty-five minutes to complete.

This year the maze includes games, a photo opp, and a scavenger hunt with images throughout the maze for you to find.

“So I googled to see if there was any straw built mazes in the area and there was none. And the nearest one is in Idaho. So that’s when we got together and thought you know what we could do this as a family, we could build this,” said Kathy Johnson, Owner of Great Straw Maze.

Tickets are on sale online and in person for the maze.

In September they will also be selling a variety of pumpkins for you to purchase.
