ANAHEIM, Calif. — If you are a Direct TV subscriber and were hoping to tune in to ESPN, or watch ABC on a Disney-owner TV station, you were out of luck on Sunday

Disney is in a dispute with Direct TV over a new distribution deal that has left millions of people in the dark.

Disney cut off access to subscribers ahead of Sunday night’s big college game on the network between the USC Trojans and the LSU Tigers.

Tennis fans hoping to catch US Open Matches on ESPN also are missing out.

And the start of the NFL season and Monday Night Football on ESPN is just a week away.

Both sides pointed the finger at each other for a breakdown in talks.

It’s unclear how long the dispute will last.

This is a developing story.

Check back for updates through the day.
