Update on south Fargo fire: Curtains in basement bedroom on fire

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) –Burning curtains in a basement bedroom are being blamed for a twin home fire in south Fargo Sunday afternoon.
Multiple fire crews and police responded to the multi-family around 4:30 p.m.
The house is located at 1738 50th Street South in Fargo, a few blocks west of Home Depot.
Fargo Fire Battalion Chief Joe Mangin says the home had vinyl siding which caught on fire, allowing the fire to move up the outside of the house and into the attic of both homes.
The initial unit suffered significant damage.
The adjoined home had considerable damage in the attic space.
A structure in a neighboring yard also had siding damage. Everyone was able to make it out of the homes safely.
