FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Summer is wrapping up and a local skating rink is celebrating as we roll into a new season.
Skate City hosted its annual Labor Day Hot Dog Skate
Skaters of all ages were invited to celebrate to go skating in the indoor rink.
The event allowed families to come in longer than their normal two hour sessions, up to six hours.
Everyone who came in to skate also received a free hot dog and drink.
“It’s an every year an annual thing. We do this as well on Memorial Day. It’s a nice transition from the summer back into the school year. If you’re out for the Memorial Day transitioning from the school year out into the summer,” said Tony Heer, General Manager.
If you missed out on this event, there will be more events coming up for Skate City.
Plus, every Saturday they offer Family Skate from 10 to 12 pm.
