Fargo Man Pleads Not Guilty After Telling Police He Killed His Girlfriend In June

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A Fargo man charged with murdering his girlfriend in June pleads not guilty even though he earlier admitted to police that he killed her.
61-year-old Randall Duffy is charged with murder and domestic violence.
He entered his pleas in court on Monday.
Court records show Duffy called police on June 8 and asked them to send someone.
He gave consent to look in the closet and that’s where the officer found the body of 59-year-old Jody Campbell.
Duffy says he and Campbell got into a fight the night before over a meth pipe and he says he “choked her out too long”.
A judge set his bail at $1 million back in June.
His next court date is set for October 3.
