Essentia Health Asks People in Fosston To Take Health Survey After Ruling in Dispute

FOSSTON, Minn. (KVRR) — After an arbitration panel ruled this month in favor of Essentia Health in a dispute with the city of Fosston over its closure of labor and delivery service in 2022, people are being asked for their opinions.
People in and around Fosston are being asked to take a community health survey now through October 31.
It is available online in both English and Spanish on the Essentia Health website here.
Essentia has run the hospital for the past 15 years but the city sought to end its agreement after changes were made to services.
Essentia Health and all non-profit healthcare systems do a Community Health Needs Assessment every three years in Minnesota.
