WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) –The West Fargo Public Library Board of Directors voted to approve several policy updates that will take effect in the new year

Those changes include being closed on Sundays, removing late fees for checkout on technology, adding a new location, and changing the area people can receive a free library card.

These motions were made after looking over their data of how many people have been coming in and checking materials out.

While the adjustments may sound an alarm for some they want to assure people that they are making the best decision.

“We’re just really excited to keep growing alongside the city of West Fargo in responsible ways,” said Jenna Kahly, Library Director at West Fargo Public Library.

The new policy changes will take effect into the new year.
