Two People Found Dead Inside Submerged Vehicle Near Thief River Falls, MN

PENNINGTON CO., Minn. (KVRR) — Two people are dead after crashing into a body of water southwest of Thief River Falls, Minnesota.

Pennington County Sheriff Seth Vettleson says his office got a report of a vehicle rollover on Center Street, west of Pembina Trail just before 8 this morning.

Deputies arrived to find the vehicle was partially submerged.

Two people were located dead inside the vehicle.

The names of the deceased are being withheld pending family notifications.

The crash remains under investigation.
