One person killed in Otter Tail County crash is identified

NEW YORK MILLS, Minn. (KVRR UPDATE 12/2) — The name of a person who was killed in a crash early last Wednesday near New York Mills has been released.

Minnesota State Patrol says 55-year-old Rebecca Shahin of Sebeka was driving a vehicle that crashed at an intersection on Highway 10 with a pickup.

She died at the scene.

Three people in the pickup from Miles City, Montana were not hurt.

Roads were dry at the time.

NEW YORK MILLS, Minn. (KVRR-KFGO) – Minnesota State Patrol Sgt. Jesse Grabow says one person was killed in a crash in Otter Tail County Wednesday.

The crash happened around 2:40 a.m. about 5 miles northwest of New York Mills.

The State Patrol says a pickup and car collided at the intersection of Highway 10 and Haberhan Street.

A 51-year-old man was driving the pickup. A 55-year-old woman and 15-year-old boy were passengers. All three are from Miles City, Montana.

The car was driven by a 55-year-old woman from Sebeka, Minnesota.

Grabow did not say who was killed. More information is expected Thursday.
