Worthington woman arrested after I-94 pursuit

CASS COUNTY, N.D. (KVRR) — A woman is arrested after leading authorities on a pursuit.

Barnes County say there was a reckless driver eastbound on I-94 around 4 p.m.

They say 23-year-old Makayla Ryan, of Worthington, Minnesota, was swerving all over the roadway and brake checking people.

North Dakota Highway Patrol tried to stop Ryan but she fled.

They used a spike strip to deflat the car’s tires.

She continued to flee taking the Sheyenne exit into West Fargo and that’s when the highway patrol backed off for the public’s safety.

She was later found on I-94 and arrested. She was charged with driving under the influence of drugs and having THC paraphernalia.
