Arrest Made In South Side Gas Station Robbery

Southpointe Tesoro Was Held Up In South Fargo

FARGO (KFGO) – Fargo police arrested a suspect in the attempted armed robbery of the Tesoro station store at 3202 33rd Street South, less than four hours after it happened.

The suspect, 18-year old John Holeton, of Fargo, is facing charges of Attempted Robbery and Possession of a Stolen Firearm.

Police say the robber, who was wearing a ski mask, entered the store around 8:30 p.m. Sunday, carrying a rifle and was confronted by a customer who was able to grab the gun away and the man fled the store on foot.

The customer had a few minor scrapes during the struggle.
