Possible Car Explosion and Fire Damages Garage in North Moorhead

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR/KFGO) — Fire crews respond to a possible car explosion and fire in north Moorhead.

The call to 904 20th Street North came in just after 10 a.m.

Battalion Chief Matt Brand says crews could see smoke coming from the roof, but contained the fire to the garage.

Brand says there is no fire damage to the roof and smoke damage inside the home is minimal.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
