Fargo Man Pleads Guilty To Killing Girlfriend and Putting Her Body In A Closet

FARGO (KFGO) – A Fargo man charged with murder after telling police officers he killed his girlfriend and put her body in the closet has pleaded guilty.

Randall Duffy called police last June and asked them to send someone to his apartment in the 3100 block of 33rd Street S. Duffy led officers to a closet where he had put the body of 59-year-old Jody Campbell.

Duffy told the officers he and Campbell got into a fight after Campbell accused him of stealing her meth pipe. After that, he said he got mad and “choked her out too long.”

Duffy has been in the Cass County jail since his June 8 arrest.

A sentencing hearing has not been scheduled.
