Horace, ND Teen Changes Plea In Crash That Injured Three Other Teenagers Last Summer

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A Horace, North Dakota teen changes her plea for causing a crash that injured three other teenage girls last summer.

18-year-old McKenzie Moser entered an Alford plea to criminal vehicular injury.

That means she acknowledged that that there would be enough evidence to convict her.

A trial set to start Tuesday has now been canceled and Moser will be sentenced on April 28.

Moser was arrested June 13 and had a blood-alcohol level of .194,  over twice the legal limit for driving.

Two 16-year-old girls and a 14-year-old girl were in the other car.

All four teens suffered head wounds.

Two of the girls suffered broken vertebrae, one had a broken leg and one had a lacerated spleen.

Moser was also involved in a hit-and-run before the crash in Fargo where officers found the front bumper and license plate to her car.
