Man Killed After Crashing His Snowmobile Into Ice Castle Fish House in Becker County, MN

UPDATE (5PM 02/16/25) The victim’s name is Benjamin Hellerman, 39, of Sauk Centre, Minnesota.

BECKER CO., Minn. (KVRR) — A man has died after crashing his snowmobile into an unoccupied fish house on Two Inlets Lake in Becker County, Minnesota.

The sheriff’s office was notified last night around 9:30.

They say two men were snowmobiling across the lake when one noticed the other snowmobile was no longer behind him.

He went back and found the other snowmobiler had hit an Ice Castle fish house and wasn’t breathing.

The man was pronounced dead a short time later.

His name will be released once family has been notified.

The incident remains under investigation.
