Southern Valley Fire & Rescue To Provide Narcan Leave-Behind Kits

HORACE, N.D. (KVRR) — Southern Valley Fire & Rescue will start handing out Narcan leave-behind kits to people at risk of an opioid-related overdose.

The kits include two Narcan nasal spray devices and the steps to be taken in the event of an opioid overdose.

They are joining forces with Fargo Cass Public Health for the program.

It is funded through a state opioid response grant.

Southern Valley Fire & Rescue responds to around 93 square miles of Cass County and serves eight communities.
