Grand Forks Police Arrest Man After Short Chase

A man is in jail after leading authorities on a wild pursuit through Grand Forks.

21-year-old Cole Johnson of Grand Forks faces a number of charges for the chase and multiple outstanding warrants.

Authorities say the chase started in Reynolds just after midnight, went through Grand Forks and ended at north Columbia Road and Washington Street.

Johnson was stopped with the use of stop sticks which caused him to lose control and hit the ditch.

He ran but was captured.

No one was hurt.
