International Women’s Day Celebration

This is the fifth year Kondial Kel International has hosted an event commemorating the day.

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR)  – Saturday was International Women’s Day, and the strong ladies of the area hosted an event that’s been growing in popularity every year.

Kondial Kel International put on their annual celebration for the day, this year at Armory Events Center in Moorhead.

There wre booths helmed by organizations like League of Women Voters and Planned Parenthood.

There was also a panel discussion where women of various backgrounds shared their differing experiences with womanhood.

Event organizers say that those differences are a big part of why celebrating this day is so important.
