Fargo Park Board Approves Lower Season Pool Passes: $350 For Family Instead of $500

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Fargo Park Board has voted to update its fees for the upcoming pool season after outrage over rates passed last August.
They increased a family season pass to all five pools from $193 a year to $500.
The reduced rate just passed tonight comes in at $350.
A youth season pool pass will now be $150, down from $210.
There are still some small increases in daily fees at Island Park, Davies and Southwest Rec Pool.
Fargo Park District Executive Director Susan Faus admits to being too aggressive in raising fees saying they hadn’t been increased in years.
Scholarships are available on the district’s website that’s also where you can find pool passes starting April 1.
