HoDo Treats Local Farmers To Five Course Meal

Now that the harvest season is over, HoDo celebrates its farmers by cooking them a meal.

The 16 purveyors that provide produce, animals and raw ingredients for the restaurant enjoyed a five course meal with all ingredients gathered within a hundred miles of the restaurant.

It’s been HoDo’s mission since it opened 12 years ago to provide locally sourced food to its customers.

“It’s just a pleasure to have all these wonderful people who respect the land and respect their animals. We’ve done business with them for many years so we’re all getting together and celebrating,” says Hodo Owner, Karen Stoker.

The menu includes everything from eggs and chicken to tomatoes.

It also features a wide variety of potatoes.

The restaurant holds the dinner this time of the year because of the bounty of the harvest.
