YMCA FM Gators Swim Meet Creates a Splash

The YMCA FM Gators Swim Team hosted their swim meet at Davies High.

Swimmers as young as five competed, in a variety of events. Teams tried to place for the first, second and third plaque, but each swimmer could win a ribbon up to 16th place. Nearly 400 swimmers are registered.

“It’s a bigger facility, lots of room for parents because there’s already standing room only. There’s just so many people that come to cheer on their kids. Which is completely awesome,” says YMCA volunteer, Tina Snider.

The next meet is Sunday at the Davies High.
