Teen arrested after gunshots heard in south Fargo

FARGO (KVRR-KFGO) – A 17-year-old was arrested Sunday afternoon after police responded to a report of gunshots heard in south Fargo.

Sgt. Chris Mathson says the call came in at 3:16 p.m. in the 3300 block of 42nd Street S. When they got there, officers found multiple people who matched the descriptions given by witnesses.

The 17-year-old was arrested for theft of a gun and taken to juvenile detention.

No one was hurt and the investigation is ongoing.
