Fargo man cited for DUI after crashing into tree

FARGO (KVRR-KFGO) – A 31-year-old Fargo man was injured in a crash in south Fargo early Thursday morning.

Fargo police say around 2:30 a.m., Tyler Benjamin was driving in the 2600-block of 40th Avenue S. when he lost control of his car and crashed into a tree.

Benjamin was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police Lt. Shane Aberle says Benjamin was cited for reckless driving and DUI.

The Highway Patrol is assisting Fargo police with reconstruction of the crash.
