Journey, The Beach Boys, Gene Simmons and others plan stops in the region this summer and fall

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — The Beach Boys are heading back to Shooting Star Casino in Mahnomen this summer.
Catch the legends behind the hits “Good Vibrations” and “Kokomo” on Friday, August 21.
The band last played the casino last May and KVRR’S TJ Nelson had a chance to interview and meet Mike Love before the show along with Bruce Johnston.
Johnston has since retired from touring.
Tickets run between $60 and $115 and they go on sale May 25 at starcasino.com.
Classic rock legends Journey extend the band’s Final Frontier Tour to include a stop in Grand Forks.
Hear their large collection of hits including “Don’t Stop Believin'” and “Faithfully” when they take the stage at Alerus Center on Friday, October 2.
Citi card members will have access to presale tickets beginning Wednesday at 10 A.M.
The rest of us will have to get our tickets starting Friday morning at 10 at ticketmaster.com.
Not to be left out of all of the fun, Dakota Magic Casino has announced its own entertainment lineup for this fall.
American Idol country music star Scotty McCreery will be there September 11.
Comic Josh Blue is set for October 3 and “America’s top psychic medium” Matt Fraser returns on October 18.
Then the KISS legend himself is set to appear when the Gene Simmons Band takes the stage on October 30.
