Update: No injuries in fire that heavily damaged south Fargo home
FARGO (KVRR) – Firefighters from Fargo, West Fargo and Moorhead responded to a house fire that caused extensive damage Friday morning in south Fargo.
The fire at 2665 Meadow Creek Circle S. was reported at 10:12 a.m.
At one time, thick smoke from the fire could be seen several blocks away. The fire extended into roof and attic space from the basement.
Fire Marshal Ryan Erickson says the blaze went to a 2nd alarm and the Moorhead and West Fargo Departments were called for mutual aid.
It took about an hour to bring the fire under control.
The residents were displaced due to significant fire and smoke damage. A cost estimate of the damage is not yet available.
There were no injuries. The cause is being investigated.
