Man Crushed By Falling Vehicle in Rural Chaffee, ND Is Identified

CASS CO., N.D. (KVRR) — The man who died in rural Chaffee, North Dakota after a vehicle fell on top of him has been identified as 68-year-old Andrew Grant of Fargo.

First responders were called out to the residence just before 5 p.m. on Tuesday.

Grant was pronounced dead at the scene.

The initial investigation shows that the devices used to support the vehicle had failed, causing it to fall while Grant was working underneath it.

Cass County Sheriff’s Office is awaiting the final autopsy results.
