The Chamber and Building Association host Fargo City Commission candidates debate

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — The Chamber holds a second night of candidate debates, this time with those running for two open seats on the Fargo City Commission.

It was co-hosted by the Building Industry Association of the Red River Valley.

Of the eight candidates running, six participated in the debate including Derik Arneson, Scott Brekke, Aaron Hill, Anna Johnson, Chad Peterson and Jeremy Schaeffer.

Tony Gehrig and Nikkie Gullickson did not attend in person but both provided brief letters about their campaigns.

Debate topics reflected key issues impacting the business community and things they would change as a commissioner.

The debate was moderated by The Chamber’s Vice President of Public Policy Cale Dunwoody.

The election is June 9.
