CoreCon Brings Together Anime, Sci-fi, Horror, Comic Lovers Alike For ‘Halfoween’

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) —  Lovers of all things spooky probably know that it’s now halfway to Halloween, and CoreCon Fargo is back with a Halfoween convention.

The convention brings together people with all interests in science fiction, fantasy, gaming, horror, and anime.

The four-day convention has fan panels, panelists, gaming rooms, and other events going on.

Proceeds from the convention this year will support Golden Drive Homeless Kids.

“So it’s for the people who are nerds who just want to have fun here. Who just want to be themselves and by doing that we just also want to help the community because a lot of know what it’s like. We’re not always in positions where we can do things, but then when we need to receive help and we get that help it’s like wow we need to pass this forward. So CoreCon is very much built on the idea of getting and then giving back,” said Olivia Angst, Consul of CoreCon.

Registration is still open for the event, and it is all located at the Holiday Inn at 3803 13th Ave S.
