Fairy Fest Brings Magic to Yunker Farm

This is the second year of the event, which was so popular the first time around that organizers added an extra day to this installment.

FARGO, N.D. – Fairies of all shapes and sizes are flitting about at Yunker Farm Park this weekend.

It’s the second-ever Fairy Fest, organized by the Fargo Park Department.

The event was so successful last year that the department added a second day of fairy festivities this time around.

There’s face painting, space for chalk art, and of course fairy parades so everyone can show off their wings.

Event staff call it the definition of a family-friendly event.

“It’s for all ages,” said Katelin Madsen, event supervisor for the department. “Everyone can love fairies, so we’ll take anyone from your grandparents to babies.”

Admission is free to Fairy Fest, if you’re trying to go to day 2 on May 25.

But, if you can’t make it, don’t worry – Fargo Parks expects to bring the event back next year.
