West Fargo man faces multiple charges following traffic enforcement crackdown

FARGO (KVRR-KFGO) – A West Fargo man has been charged with felony reckless endangerment, fleeing and other charges after he was arrested by the North Dakota Highway Patrol Friday night in Fargo during a special traffic law enforcement crackdown.

Highway Patrol Captain Bryan Niewind says the driving behavior of 22-year-old Mario Rodriquez was extremely dangerous.

Rodriquez was released from the Cass County jail after posting bail.

Niewind says Rodriguez didn’t have a license plate or the proper endorsement for a motorcycle. He was also driving with a suspended license and had no liability insurance. The motorcycle was impounded.

Niewind says the Highway Patrol has asked that the bike be seized, something the state’s attorneys office would have to do through a forfeiture action.

Two other motorcyclists were also cited for fleeing during the aerial enforcement.
