Man dies in crash between semi and cement truck in Cass County

CASS COUNTY, N.D. (KVRR) — A man is dead after his cement truck was struck by a semi at an intersection in rural Cass County Wednesday night.

The crash occured just before 8:30 PM at the intersection of Highway 18 and County Road 26. The driver of the cement truck failed to stop and the intersection, and was struck by the semi.

The driver of the cement truck died at the scene. The driver of the semi was taken to Sanford Hospital in Fargo for non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
