Tornado kills three people in rural Enderlin

ENDERLIN, N.D. (KVRR) – Three people in rural Enderlin are dead following a tornado and severe thunderstorms that moved through the region overnight.

Cass County Sheriff Jesse Jahner says at approximately 11:40 p.m. Friday, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to rural Enderlin for tornado damage to a residence.

Once deputies arrived on the scene, the Enderlin Fire Department informed them that storm chasers had located two deceased people as a result of the tornado.

Shortly later, firefighters were sent to another location, where a third deceased person was found as a result of the tornado.

Deputies found extensive damage to the area and began to conduct well-being checks on people with other law enforcement agencies and first responders.
