Minnkota Power Cooperative: Some of the worst storm damage in decades

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR/FACEBOOK) — Minnkota Power Cooperative in Grand Forks is continuing to make progress on restoring power in its service area.

On social media they wrote “This is some of the worst storm damage we’ve seen in decades, but progress is being made every hour.”

They say the system damage is significant and stretches from western North Dakota to northwestern Minnesota.

Minnkota crews are working to repair critical infrastructure and focusing on dozens of damaged transmission structures throughout the region.
