Bail set for Fargo man involved in standoff with SWAT Monday morning in Moorhead

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) — A Fargo man accused of fleeing and hiding from law enforcement in a south Moorhead house on Monday makes his first court appearance.

The judge set bond for 42-year-old Christopher Ringsrud-Knowels at $600,000 with conditions or $800,000 without conditions.

He was out on bond for a possesion of explosives case in Grand Forks County and two drug cases in Minnesota.

He led officers on a chase before ditching his vehicle and running inside a home occupied by two people.

They were not hurt.

Knowles was found in the attic after several hours and arrested for burglary, possession of a firearm and fleeing.

A backpack that was discarded from the vehicle was found to contain a firearm and ammunition.

His passenger, 30-year-old Alexandria Lang of Fargo, was arrested for obstruction and aiding an offender.
