Paradox Comics-n-Cards, Orange Records Celebrate 1 Year in New Locations

Paradox management says that the increased visibility on Main has significantly upped their foot traffic.

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – It’s been one year since two local businesses made a big move – and they wanted to celebrate with the customers they say made it possible.

Saturday marked one year since Paradox Comics-n-Cards opened its doors at 814 Main Avenue. To celebrate, they offered 15 percent off almost anything in the store.

They say the first year has been fantastic, with far more foot traffic than they received at their old location.

Before Paradox moved in, the building was a Mexican Village restaurant location. Paradox staff said the renovations they did to make the space their own were extensive.

“The whole inside of this building was stripped down. We were there every step of the way,” said Colin Anderson.

“It was pretty much suited for specifically what we wanted.”

Orange Records, Paradox’s companion business next door, also celebrated their year at the new location, but did not offer any discounts.
