Police tell residents to avoid flooded roads

Fargo, N.D. (KVRR) — Authorities in North Dakota were urging drivers to avoid traveling and remain vigilant as widespread flooding swept across the state on Tuesday. Fargo police posted images showing cars navigating deep water that rose nearly to the tops of their wheels.
They also issued a travel advisory reminding motorists to never drive through flooded roads, and that even shallow-looking water can be deceptive.
