Three People Hospitalized After Barnesville Stabbing

Reports indicate that this was a domestic dispute that escalated into serious violence.

BARNESVILLE, MN (KVRR) – Three people were hospitalized with stab wounds after a domestic incident in Barnesville on August 8.

Barnesville Police Department says that they, alongside Clay County Sheriff’s Office, arrived at the scene in the 900 block of 2nd Avenue SE in Barnesville just after 6:00 P.M. to find that three people had been stabbed.

One was flown to the hospital for treatment, while the two others were transported by ambulance. Barnesville Chief of Police Joel Voxland says this is an isolated incident and that all involved knew each other.

Charges have yet to be filed pending the ongoing investigation.
