Minnesota State Troopers issue over 600 citations during WE Fest

DETROIT LAKES, Minn. (KVRR/KFGO) — The State Patrol says it conducted more than 1,000 traffic stops and made nine DWI  arrests during the three days of WE Fest south of Detroit Lakes.

511 citations or warnings were issued for speeding and there 119 seatbelt violation citations or warnings. 14 minors were cited for underage drinking.

There were 21 citations for driving with a revoked, suspended or canceled license.

Becker County Sheriff’s Office has not released its enforcement numbers for the event.
