Ground and aerial mosquito spraying planned this week in the FM Metro

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — This is prime time for West Nile Virus and at least two dozen human cases have been reported in North Dakota.

Cass County Vector Control will ground spray rural cities in the county tonight starting at 8.

They will do aerial spraying on Tuesday night in Fargo and West Fargo starting around 7:30.

Moorhead will do ground spraying in targeted hot spots on Tuesday night starting at 8:30.

If conditions are not right, it will be moved to Wednesday night.

They say residents that have previously submitted the Ground Spraying Exemption do not need to reapply.

Dilworth will also be spraying for mosquitoes on Tuesday night starting at 8.

You can avoid the pesticide by staying inside, closing your windows and turning off your air conditioner.
