NDSU credits strategic changes for first-day enrollment increase

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — North Dakota State University is reporting a first-day enrollment increase as they welcomed in 11,954 students.
That’s a one percent increase compared to the same day last year.
This includes a three percent increase in first-time freshman, a three percent increase in transfer students, and a one percent increase in graduate enrollment.
The school mentions several strategic efforts behind the growth such as increasing scholarship opportunities, building stronger partnerships with K–12 schools to offer dual credit and college readiness programs, and started construction of new state-of-the-art facilities.
