Man Injured in Grand Forks Shooting
The victim is currently receiving treatment at Altru in Grand Forks.

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) – The Grand Forks Police Department is searching for possible assailants after a man was shot in the early morning hours of August 31.
The department says they began receiving calls reporting gunshots in the area of the 500 block of 4th Ave N. at around 4:30 A.M. When officers arrived, they located a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported
to Altru Hospital by ambulance for treatment. His condition is not currently known.
Witnesses reported possibly seeing a dark-colored sport utility vehicle leaving the area, but the department cannot confirm that at this time. There is also no information at present regarding a description of a potential shooter or shooters.
Grand Forks PD is asking anyone who lives in this area to check security cameras they may have in their homes for footage that may assist in the investigation. They also urge anyone with information regarding this incident to call them at 701-787-8000.
