Jamestown man facing charges related to computer hacking, death threats against brother

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) — A Jamestown man is facing charges for allegedly asking a co-worker to hack into his brother’s security system so he could kill him.
Court records say Kelly Spivey believed his brother is stealing from their father.
The co-worker told police he wanted access to his brother’s security system to find out when he was home alone so he could kill him.
Police contacted Spivey’s brother who lives out of state.
He told investigators he believes Spivey is a valid threat to his life.
Spivey is charged with criminal attempt murder, computer fraud and terrorizing.
A court date is set for October 1.
