Agristo Begins Groundwork for Grand Forks Facility
The potato processing company picked Grand Forks for its first location in the United States.

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) – The STEM building on the UND campus was just one important project that got underway on September 19.
Agristo also began groundwork on its new potato processing facility.
The Belgian company known for its frozen potato products chose Grand Forks to be the location of its first processing facility in the United States.
Once complete, the facility will process thousands of tons of potatoes annually into French fries, hashbrowns, and other frozen specialties to be distributed throughout the U.S and the world.
It is expected to open for business sometime in 2028.
