North Dakota Highway Patrol Public Information Officer Honored by International Association of Chiefs of Police
The IACP named Lt. Jenna Clawson Huibregtse as one of their "40 Under 40".

BISMARCK, N.D. (KVRR) – Lt. Jenna Clawson Huibregtse has been honored as a “40 Under 40” award recipient by the International Association of Chiefs of Police, or IACP.
Huibregtse serves as the Commander of the Safety and Education Division and the Public Information Officer for the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
She joined the department in 2015 after obtaining an undergraduate degree from MSUM and a master’s from NDSU.
Huibregtse has risen steadily up the ranks since then, becoming Public Information Officer in 2023 and attaining the rank of Lieutenant in 2025.
The “40 Under 40” award recognizes 40 international police professionals under the age of 40 who “exemplify leadership, dedication, and innovation in law enforcement.”
Huibregtse will be formally recognized at the IACP Annual Conference and Expo in October, which over 16,000 fellow officers are expected to attend.
