West Fargo High School Student Detained by ICE
The student was reportedly on their way to an immigration hearing in Grand Forks.
WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – A current student at West Fargo High School has been taken into custody by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE.
Sources say the student was on their way to an immigration hearing in Grand Forks when they were detained by officers. Their identity has not yet been made publicly available.
West Fargo Public Schools said in an official response to KVRR that they have general awareness of the situation, but because the incident did not occur on district property or at a school-sponsored event, they are not in a position to provide comment.
