Jamestown man detained after shots fired in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (KVRR-KFGO) – A Jamestown man is in custody after shots were fired in Jamestown last Thursday night.
Police began investigating after a report of shots fired in the downtown area around 8:40 p.m.
Investigators say Kwamne Kane, 31, fired at least five shots from a handgun. No one was hurt.
Early this morning, officers with Jamestown Police and James-Valley Special Operations team responded to an apartment complex to serve a search warrant on Kane. The complex was evacuated for a short time before he was taken into custody.
Police say charges against Kane are pending.
