26th annual RDO Caters Taters luncheon fundraises for children’s advocacy center

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Many scrambled over to the Holiday Inn on Tuesday to get a taste of a freshly baked potato.
The 26th annual RDO Caters Taters luncheon returned, with this year’s fundraising going to the Red River Children’s Advocacy Center.
The organization works to provide healing and justice for children who have experienced abuse.
Money raised will go towards two more in-house mental health clinicians and providing more support to other programs and resources they offer.
“At RDO one of our core stakeholders is about the community…And this year, with a fantastic partner and a great cause with the Red River Children Advocacy Center. They just do phenomenal work. It’s obviously a very difficult subject, but they provide support, healthcare, and counseling, and really justice for kids that experienced abuse,” said Tim Curoe, RD Offutt Company.
Since starting Caters Taters, they have fundraised $1.2 million for local charities.
