FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Fargo Public Library announces three finalists for its Color Our World Library Card Design Contest.

This years theme came as a part of the Summer Reading Challenge along with their 16th annual design a bookmark contest.

They got a total of nearly 130 designs submitted.

The finalists were selected in each category among kids, teens, and adults.

The library children’s director says the contest was so popular when they first held it in 2022, they decided to bring it back.

“I think one of the fun things is that it engages that creative spirit that a lot of people in our community have. Both kids, adults, teens, all of those age groups (…) And so I think that’s another way that someone who has a creative or artistic nature is going to want to do it that way,” said Children’s Services Manager Amber Emery.

The new library card designs will be available in January.
