Train and vehicle collision in north Moorhead

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) — A Fargo woman had to be freed from her vehicle after colliding with a BNSF train.

A slow-moving vehicle crashed into a rail car at 15th Avenue North and Highway 75 North in Moorhead.

The crash was located just west of the Centennial Softball Complex.

Police say it happened shortly before 1:30 p.m.  The driver, an 84-year-old Fargo, woman sustained non-life threatening injuries. She was taken by ambulance to an area hospital.
